Do You Know Where You Belong?

Have you often asked this question – Where do I belong?

From being part of a community or church or group of friends. We all long for the atmosphere where we can belong.

When we know our purpose in God, we will understand where we belong.

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by Him and for Him. Colossians 1:16

This starts with doing what God has called us to do. Instead of waiting on God to show you. Begin by being that change in your world. And soon you will realise how you fit into the puzzle that God wants you to be part of in your community and church and friendships.

This is a poem to inspire you to bring all you have to God, for Him to use you to reach others only you can touch. By being an inspiration to others, because you know your identity is founded in Christ.

When I know where I belong…
Where my security and identity is founded
It is not dependent on someone…
It is not based on anything…
It is only in Christ!
Because my happiness or completeness is not derived from a person or thing…
I do not need anything to make me happy…
I do not need to have anyone to make me complete…
Because I have ALL I need in Him!
If someone hurts me… lets me down… or circumstances turn out contrary to my expectations
I know He will never leave me or forsake me…
I know where my security lies…
In the shelter of the Most High
In His safe shadow.
