2019 is the start of a brand new chapter in your life. Have you been thinking of what you would like to improve about yourself this year? Perhaps your overall evaluation of your own worth is quite poor or low. Due to life’s hard knocks.
What you need is to raise your self-esteem. Push past the feelings of nervousness and being afraid. And reach up to snatch your goals.
1| Begin small
Focus on one positive thing you have achieved today. Or something that you were part of. Then celebrate it. Write it in a journal. I have started an Awesome Accomplishments by Ava Jar. By the end of 2019. I hope to have a lot of things l can look back and reflect on. Celebrate how far I have progressed from where I was when the year began. Every acknowledgement is a small win.
2| Select something that will challenge you today
To persuade you to move away from your comfort zone. What sets apart a good leader from a strong one is this. Start setting yourself small challenges for each day. As your confidence is enhanced take on bigger challenges. Commence with being present and living in the moment. Do one thing at a time and show value to others as you communicate. Such as active listening and good eye contact.
3| Be realistic
Don’t overload yourself with impractical expectations. You are good enough. If only one person in your whole life told you that. Stop believing it. Studies have shown that the average person will encounter approximately 10000 people in their lifetime. So go on find the other 9999 people who think you are more than good enough!
If you still struggling, speak with your GP. Find psychological therapies that can help you work on developing helpful thinking patterns. To boost low self-esteem and develop positive ways about how you see yourself.
Conclusion
When you challenge the unkind things that happen to you, you are noticing good things. Helping you eliminate people who waste your time and don’t make you happy. As well as boosting the opinion you have of yourself. There is no age as a limit, so you can begin now. To achieve what you previously thought you were never good enough to do. And the benefits include becoming more positive and being able to cope with the ups and downs of life.
