Do you have a deep unsung song?
When I began my journey of writing. It was a method of conversing with God. When words were too painful to say. And emotions overtook me. How do you cope with moments of sorrow? What is the song in your heart?
Gradually, my trust for the Lover of My Soul increased to the point that I could read the words of Isaiah 54 and say that God was taking care of me ~
The Eternal has called you to come back home, like a young wife, once deserted and deeply injured. Now God is pulling you close again. Like a spouse forgives, He will take you back and be reconciled. Isaiah 54:6
He took my mourning and turned it to singing. A song arose from my heart that was only for My Kinsman Redeemer. A passion rekindled to a fire that burns deep in my soul.
The love renewed as in Song of Solomon 8:6 ‘Set me as a seal over your heart; wear me as an emblem on your arm. For love is as strong as death, and jealousy is as relentless as the grave’.
A new passion was ignited, ‘Love flares up like a blazing fire, a very ardent flame’; where many waters cannot quench it and it feels like a fire shut up in my bones’. Jeremiah 20:9
Have you let circumstances ‘stomp out’ the flame you once had?
Trials, tests can turn our eyes from looking up and fixate on our situation. We cannot seem to see past the crisis we face. God longs to switch our focus from the negative we drown our feelings in and view His positive hope
Have you allowed pain to dictate your feelings?
God is calling you out from the deep! To find the song in your heart that never dies. Rekindle that passion you once felt for life. Chase it and find Him again.
