Do you have dreams that you feel are lost?
Often taking a break may seem futile, however, it can also provide an opportunity for you to learn more about yourself.
I have taken a break. During this time, I have learned so much – about me and my relationship with God and His unrelenting love for me.
Even though I have not published consistently in this time on my blog, I have still been writing. Particularly, when you feel like your ideas have dried up or your brain feels fried. It is OK to place your pen down for a whie and gather inspiration giving yourself a deadline to return. Perhaps difficult life circumtances have caused you to stop writing. Either way don’t be hard on yourself, but allow yourself the space to breathe and focus on something else, until you feel you can return from this enforced time away.
Writing may not work in every season of our lives, and that is perfectly normal. Don’t be afraid to set it aside for a while. By no means does this make you are not a writer, instead it can open another path of deliberation.
1| He can replace your dreams with HIS
When your dreams are replaced with God’s, you suddenly wake up and have a clear message and direction for where to go.
2| He will give you better dreams than you ever dreamt of
Most of our lives is filled with what happens to us. And the other half is what we do with what happens to us. If I allow God to guide my decision and become my compass. Then He is judging what is small or great; significant or insignificant and not me.
3| And if you give Him Lordship of your dreams, He will always be GOD Most High in your life
I aim to upload my writings soon. Of hope, transformation and Christ ‘shifting’ my heart and mind from mediocre to amazing. No feat is gigantic. And from taking a break, I am learning interesing ideas with varying approches.
Never forget that God’s purposes and plans for our lives never fail. But we need to allow God to be at the centre of our lives, so that our dreams will be conjured with His will, not our ego.
I learned GOD-worship when my pride was shattered. Heart-shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice.
Psalms 51:17 (MSG)
It is never to late to surrender your dreams to Christ. Writing may seem like a hobby, but it could lead to productivity. In the meantime, you could be reading and researching more, so that when you return to writing you will feel recharged. No process can be rushed so don’t try to bypass the stages of being infused with creativity.
