My answers to the 11 questions –
1| Who would you like to visit with in heaven?
To be honest, I have a list. Moses probably would be first, but then I would like to visit Ruth, Joseph, Esther, Paul, so many women in the New Testament. The women who lingered at the cross faithful to the very end.
2| Where did you grow up?
In Southern Africa, although I am Indian.
3| What is your favourite subject to blog about?
Beauty with a Christian perspective.
4| What is your biggest obstacle to your Christian walk?
Not doing enough with what God has given me.
5| What author inspired you the most?
This is quite hard as I have a list, but I would say top of that would be Billy Graham and Nelson Mandela.
6| What is your biggest regret in life so far?
I honestly believe that everything happens according to God’s timing and plan. I wish I had learned so many important life lessons earlier. Being a pastor’s kid, I grew up in church. But, I have had my own trials and tests. Which I believe has only anchored my faith deeper in God through my testing.
7| How has your relationship with God changed over the years?
Walking through the valley of heartbreak, I have encountered a profound trust in God. Beyond anything I have ever known. All the hurt, anguish and pain God has used to fashion me. I would never exchange it for the eternal unrelenting love I have acquired in my Kinsman Redeemer.
8| What is your favourite Bible verse?
Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Song of Solomon 8:6 NIV
9| What Apostle do you most relate to and why?
I love the life of Paul. Such a dignified man who was distinguished. And his life changed on the Damascus road. We all have something that is of worth. And the words he wrote that inspire millions even today is in honour of the boundless Grace of God on that Damascus road. My faith was shaken to the core when my world crumbled, but through my own pursuit of the Lover of my soul, I have encountered an indescribable hope and faith in my Kinsman Redeemer that simply takes my breath away.
10| If you could do or be anything in life, what would it be?
To inspire others to personally find and know a God Most High.
11| Why do I blog?
Because I love writing. I think that writing should be about you and your voice. What is in your heart? And how God is nurturing our inner characters to be of eternal worth. We are all unique and exceptional!
This has brought a ray of sunshine into my day! So to brighten your day I would like to consider all the bloggers who have been an awesome inspiration to me.
