In order, to not get that demotivated feelings on any day, follow these 10 steps. To help your mornings run smoother. And make more time for the things that matter most to you.

1| Don’t switch the snooze button

It has been proven scientifically that when you drift off to sleep. Your sleep cycle restarts. Leading to grogginess. Instead stretch for a few minutes. This helps your joints rid of excess fluid. Making you feel tired. And stiff. Then drink a tall glass of cold water. To help your metabolism. Give it a try. You will do everything a bit quicker. And feel less bedazzled.

2| Persuasion tip for dawdlers

A good trick for young children. If they delay in the morning. Then they have to go to bed early. Count the minutes. And add it all up. Make it a game. The quickest one could get to choose something like. Juice to drink. Music to listen to in the car.

3| Check the weather forecast to pick your outfit

Then prepare it the night before. Ready to just get up and dress. No last minute changes. Decision making should be made the night before. To save time and not waste energy on trying to make new decisions.

4| Keep a handy basket for all essentials

Make sure your bag is packed. You have all the essentials. From hairbrush. To keys. Money. If you keep everything in the same place. You less likely to spend wasted minutes searching for items. The average time wasted unnecessarily every morning on lack of preparation is on average 10 minutes.

5| Make time for breakfast

This will give you nutrients. Energy. Help you concentrate. Something small. Low fat. High fibre. All adds to your body readily able to intake essential vitamins through out the day.

6| Stock up on time-saving toiletries

Find products that serve as 2 in 1. For example tinted moisturiser. Or hair mousse and body lotion. Another saving tip. You will be rateful of how much time this saves you when you trying to beat the clock.

7| Write a to-do list the night before and stick it on the fridge

To ensure you don’t forget important things. Write to-do post its and stick on the fridge. That way everyone can see. Better still have a To-do list board for your household week. That way everyone knows when. And what they need to do. From meals to appointments. Remind everyone to look at the list every morning. Until it becomes a habit.

8| Sort laundry in advance

Have an organiser for lights. Darks. Colours. That way everyone knows where to put which colour where. And empty pockets too. After a few weeks, you will have a great process for dealing with quick laundry methods.

9| Limit browsing the internet before work

Over 50% of people spend more time browsing their phone. Than in front of the mirror. Limit your browsing time to minutes. Put your phone in your bag. Until you get to work. Any media from social to gaming. Only causes delays. And arguments.

 10| Pre-pack lunches for a week on the weekend

Save time. And money. By packing lunches for the whole week. From sandwiches to easy fillings and wraps. Forward thinking. And planning. Will set you off to a dream day. And in the long run, you will have an organised fridge.
