A Life Of Extraordinary Hope

Since the end of last year, I have been following the blog of Kara Tippetts… a remarkable woman, who has gone to be with Christ… following her long battle with cancer.

I read her blog. And as I pondered on her writings. The same theme that God has given me over the last seven years arises again… HOPE.

Her book The Hardest Peace, published in October 2014 is a heartfelt honest account of her battle with breast cancer…

Yet in all of this… her story touched me… her testimony encouraged me…

Because, it looks to the Author of Life ~ Christ and His faithfulness…
And the hope is that His grace always prevails. Because no matter what, He is with us…
When we face the valley of the shadow of death, He is there…

We are mortal and our lives are numbered by Christ…
Her memoirs are filled with such peace of God’s Grace. It points us to the sovereignty of a God Most High…

Today, the post is to honour an incredible writer, dear Kara Tippetts. And in her own words she said ‘I am simply the teller and namer of grace’.  Read more here.

As we all struggle to find hope in our difficult lives. Sometimes through tragedy or sin – know that fear and control is not the answer – grace and peace is.

Are you struggling today?

I encourage you to read her amazing story and encounter the Author of Life. Christ walks with you. He will never leave you, nor forsake you. [Hebrews 3:5]
