Developing Healthy Emotional Patterns

This year I have been looking at relationships. Part of that involves how we deal with our emotions and attitudes to people and situations.

We all might be faced with different struggles. Where often we find unhealthy coping strategies. That could lead to self-destructive patterns.

As you may tackle tough struggles this week that are common to us all. My prayer (below) is you personalise God’s hope to your situation. Hang in there as you journey through life.

Boost your self-esteem,

To assist you to be resilient to every day stress,

When bigger issues rise,

Lead friends your way,

To share and care,

Equip you with knowledge,

To lessen fear when problems bombard you,

And keep active when depressing events would see you close up,

Help you invest in passions to uplift your self-worth,

To lean on His promises and manage time,

In maintaining productivity and energy,

From not overextending yourself,

And choosing to be healthy.

You don’t have to do this alone and I know exactly how you feel. But there is hope in your journey, To discover that the sky is the limit. And find an undying passion for living purposefully in the centre of God’s will!
