Beauty Secrets To Wisdom And Strategy | Week 4

Clothes rail

Does your appearance display wisdom and strategy?

Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes;

but let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God.

1 Peter 3:3-4 (AMP)

Considering the example of Esther [meaning ‘Star’], she was a woman after God’s heart.

She portrayed extraordinary outer and inner beauty. I believe it is important for a woman to spend time making herself beautiful.

  • Firstly, inner beauty (heart, mind, soul).
  • Secondly, our outer beauty. This week’s tip is based on her appearance and poise.

1| Inner Beauty – Wisdom & Strategy

Esther used wisdom in considering the fate of her people above herself and her position as queen.

Esther had a strategy in taking action and calling a 3 day fast to receive instruction from God.

2| Outer Beauty Tips

Appearance – To display myself in a modest manner, first and foremost to God.

To learn how to dress in a way that is pleasing ultimately to God (not man).

Looks aren’t everything.  Don’t be impressed with looks and stature…

Godjudges persons differently than humans do.  Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 (MSG)

Poise – To carry myself with grace knowing my identity as a daughter of the King.

To learn how to act in a dignified, self-confident manner; behaving with integrity at all times (even when no one is watching).

There’s nothing better than being wise,knowing how to interpret the meaning of life.
    Wisdom puts light in the eyes, and gives gentleness to words and manners.

Ecclesiastes 8:1 (MSG)

Time to Journal…

  • Take some time to think over each point;
  • Make it personal and write down everything God is saying to you.
  • Read each bible verse and jot down your thoughts.
  • Then pray for your inner and outer beauty. Record all the improvements to your health and appearance.
