Are you ready to unleash your courage and be brave?
Your adornment must not be merely external—with interweaving and elaborate knotting of the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or [being superficially preoccupied with] dressing in expensive clothes;
but let it be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, [one that is calm and self-controlled, not overanxious, but serene and spiritually mature] which is very precious in the sight of God.
1 Peter 3:3-4 (AMP)
In studying the example of Esther [meaning ‘Star’], she was a woman after God’s heart. She portrayed extraordinary outer and hidden inner beauty.
There was equal importance in her beauty from inside. In addition to making herself beautiful.
- Firstly, inner beauty focuses on our (heart, mind, soul).
- Secondly, outer beauty for this week is in being healthy and eating a balanced diet.
1| Inner Beauty – Strength and Courage
Esther submitted to the Godly mentoring of Mordecai. She portrayed strength as she accepted her faith in spite of the circumstances.
Esther had courage and this was displayed in setting a plan for God to show His power.
2| Outer Beauty Tips
Being Emotionally and Physically Healthy – To bring hope and healing to all the lives I touch.
Look after my body – exercise, take vitamin supplements (if necessary) and handle stress by finding ways to relax.
When our characters are refined,
we learn what it means to hope and anticipate God’s goodness.
Romans 5:4 (VOICE)
Eating a Balanced Diet – To be caring to myself and show hospitality to others.
Choose a healthy diet that is balanced and proportionate to your body; learn how to listen to your body tirrgers and signs. And care for your inner health as an imperative part of your routine.
Don’t forget to extend your hospitality to all
—even to strangers—
for as you know, some have unknowingly shown kindness to heavenly messengers in this way.
