Smart Steps To Your Personal Road Map

Life is a journey and establishing a road map to success helps develop a meaningful life. In a similar way we plan ahead and pack appropriately for a trip away, so for effectiveness the same is necessary for our personal life goals.

Are you looking for a personalised road map as a Christian?

Have you been struggling with daily life? What are your goals? How do you go about accomplishing your goals? What is the motivation for the choices you make? What are your values and priorities? Are you familiar with your habits and behaviour – so you know when to create successful ones and when to eliminate patterns that hinder you?

Walk with me for a moment and take a peek at the road map God has planned for each of our lives…

Before you were born, every day of your life was mapped out [Psalm 139:16]. This is all part of God’s will. Now it’s your role to discover it and walk in the way God wants you to. You need to ask God to guide you daily so that you know how to reach forward to clasp the plans He has for you and your destination.

Start with God’s word as a lamp for your feet and a light for your path [Psalms 119:105]. God is aware of every obstacle and pitfall. So don’t take shortcuts and contemplate external guidance, ask God. When you have the Holy Spirit as your mentor, you will be able to find divine peace in any right choice and decision you make.

Pause and ponder over this for a moment – God has made us what we are ~ to do good works which He planned in advance for us and live the life He always wanted us to live [Ephesians 2:10]. He directs the steps of the Godly [Psalm 18:36] and delights in every detail of your life [Psalm 37:23]. He clears our way so that we don’t need to stumble [Psalm 18:36].

If you seek God in all you do, He will show you which path to take [Proverbs 3:6]. Behind you there will be a voice saying ‘This is the way you should go…’ [Isaiah 30:21]

Like Paul in the bible, one day we can confidently say ‘I have fought the good fight’ [2 Timothy 4:7] because Paul showed us from his own life that he had to fight to stay on course, monitor progress and make adjustments along the way, but by God’s grace he made it and he has promised that we can too.

I love the thought that our lives are already mapped out. I thought the first quote was my favorite, then I decided I can’t choose. Love them all!

The Carey quote is especially profound. If you haven’t already, dip into the story of his life. Amazing that he could say that. God’s amazing grace. God bless!

This is such an amazing word. It’s so easy to believe that God is dragging His feet, but He is putting it all together according to His perfect plan for us.
