3 Ways I Have Listened For God’s Voice

Away from the hustle and bustle of life, we can sometimes get so caught up in every problem, every care ~ that we do not hear God’s Voice.

1| Sometimes it is a whisper…
2| Sometimes it can be like a gentle breeze…
3| Sometimes it is a small surprise…

But because we are so caught up in our own agenda or are preoccupied with our problems, we can miss the cue.

God can be whispering to me in my crisis…

God can be waving to me in my busy schedule

But because I have forgotten in that moment to take everything to Him first, I get stressed and miss the moment.

The moment that He wants me to speak with Him and take all my cares and problems to Him first. The minute where I should pray first and bring all my anxiousness to Him so that His view will be the first opinion I receive.

I decided to stop for a minute. To pause for a moment. To shut out every distraction and problem. So that I could just pray.

I pray that today I would listen for God’s Voice in everything.  When my day is calm. And when my day gets stressed. So that I can rely on His strength rather than my own.

Will you stop for a moment?

Simply pause… and pray.

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. [Phillipians 4:6-7]
