Ever felt deflated and discouraged because situations have allowed you to fall prey to the schemes of the evil one?
In our daily Christian life if we do not stand secure and unshakeable when trials and testings arise – we will never encounter victory. By this it means you need to refuse to give in. (1 Peter 5:8-9)
At times we forget the greater power Christ has given us over the evil one. (1 John 4:4) All Christ asks us to do is stand and pray in every situation, (Ephesians 6:18) because defeating the tactics of the evil one is God’s responsibility.
- Our biggest weaknesses occur when we fail to stand firm and keep praying. Spiritual battles can only be overcome if we rely on God’s Word, His power and plans over our own.
- Our feelings hinder us from establishing a resolute relationship with God and allow us to give in to the ploys of the evil one.
Have you noticed how easily distracted you become when you need to pray and find time for God?
Victorious living can only happen when we do our part and remain firm against the enemy and rely completely on God and His strength. Browse these fifteen (15) plans to encourage you.

Thanks Sheri!
It’s not always easy to not let ourselves be led by our emotions but oh is it so much more freeing when we have victory rather than discouragement in them!! Great thoughts here!

Since I fall down on the job a lot, I kept going through the slides deciding which one fit me best today. Very encouraging. Thank you!
Love your 15 plans, each is so true! Yes, it can be hard to take our feelings out of the driver’s seat. And being vulnerable is scary, not something I tend to gravitate towards. Although, I find that God often asks me to go there. Great post, many Thanks 8)
Wow- blessed and encouraged by this blog today. Facing fear; appreciated your slides. How did you create those? Would appreciate advice, as my website is fairly new.
Amen — as you say, “Victorious living can only happen when we do our part and remain firm against the enemy and rely completely on God and His strength.” YES!
15 great things to ponder. I, too, love the slides.
