As 2018 dawns. There is so much advice on setting New Year’s resolutions. Goals. Plans. But sometimes. Our best laid plans can all change in a flash.
On this first day of a New Year. I would like to focus on the life of Hezekiah. A king who modelled faithfulness and trust in God. He was bold. Not superficial. Because of his trust in God. And fervent prayers. He was rewarded with successful endeavours. Answered prayers. And victory.
Today I am praying for a miracle! Yes a miracle. And I know that God hears. Because He is maker of all things. Ruler of everything. He will bring restoration and help. [Psalms 30]
Hezekiah prayed for healing. And deliverance. God answered. He came before God in openness and honesty. In honour. And respect of who God is. With humility and certainty. He prayed.
In this New Year. What are you facing? Do you feel desperate? Helpless? A situation beyond your control?
Read Hezekiah’s Prayer in Isaiah 37-39. With a sincere heart God can answer you too. God is forever in control. To the righteous He is close. I trust God to bring salvation and answer my prayer! [Micah 7:7]
Dress every outfit this year. Beginning each day with the Armour of God [Ephesians 6].
o His salvation protects our mind through the power of God’s word.
o His righteousness guards us from condemnation.
o His truth buckles us with knowing only God’s truth.
o His peace prepares us to keep moving no matter the situation.
o His faith shields us from evil. As we trust more in His sovereignty and power.
o Use the sword which is HIS Words to fight any battle we face.
Persevere and NEVER Stop Praying.
