REFLECTIONs

BELIEVE you can, and you HALF WAY there.
Theodore Roosevelt

Do you feel like you half way there?

Not quite where you want to be, but perhaps half way to where you want to be…

With 6 months of the year already gone, do you feel like your new year’s resolutions are all forgotten and your well thought of to-do-list is long forgotten?

With wildflowers gracing the fields and meadows… I want to encourage you to take the month of June to spend time reflecting and ask yourself some questions…

Whatever season you find yourself in, simply think about where you are right now on the journey of life. ..

What list of things did you set off in 2017 to do differently?

Were there changes you wanted to make?

Did you set goals you aimed to achieve?

How close are you to this?

At the half way mark… it is never too late to revisit all those New Year’s resolutions…

Every month is a new chapter, and in every season God is faithful…

As I gaze at the daisies dancing in the early summer breeze basked in warm sunshine… I am reminded that His love is steadfast; His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Does that not inspire you enough to know that you can start a new task or project… a positive future beginning now?

His word is firmly fixed in the heavens… His faithfulness to ALL generations (Psalms 119:89-91).

Perhaps you are thinking why am I doing what I am doing?

How did I get stuck in this rut?

Why is my life so mundane?

When is it ever going to end?

Remember God did not promise life would not be filled (sometimes overwhelmed) with trials, difficulties, problems… but He did promise He would be with us holding us (Isaiah 41:10)… giving us peace (John 14:26)… sustaining us (Psalms 55:22 so revel in hope…. Be patient in troubles… be constant in prayer (Romans 12:12)

So, take that step … make a change… risk… accept challenges… take that leap
