So as I read ‘My Reckless Prayer for 2015’ by Wendy van Eyck

I felt strongly that I should choose one word that would sum up who I wanted to be or how I wanted to live my life in 2015…

The thing is… I couldn’t just choose one word, because a few came to mind and I pondered over them…

1| Relentless

Adjective: unceasingly intense. Synonyms: persistent, constant, never-ending, unabating, incessant, endless, unrelenting, sustained.

2| Pursue

Verb: follow or chase (someone or something).

3| Unyielding

Adjective: (of a person or their behaviour) unlikely to be swayed; resolute. Synonyms: resolute, inflexible, uncompromising, unbending, unshakeable, unwavering.

My prayer is that I love Christ the same way He loves me… relentlessly; unyielding and in continuous pursuit…

So that I can passionately say –

Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away.
